Enter Pupil Data

Head teachers and/or data managers will receive a login to the school’s administration system so that pupil data can be prepared. Teacher logins will be created ready for input of marks for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. This will come with clear instructions and support.

Take Tests

We strongly recommend that your pupils take the tests at the times indicated above. Our national data will be based only on pupils who took the tests at these times and so you will need to do the same for valid comparisons based on age and curriculum coverage. Click here to to get your tests in time.

Enter Marks in to MERiT

There is a simple marking application that can be used on computer, tablet or mobile for teachers to enter marks quickly and efficiently.

Access Reports

Teachers can see an instant summary of performance across the class as they enter the marks. Once all the marks are entered, reports will be available to show how pupils fared on strands within the subject domains eg Fractions, decimals and percentages in mathematics or Inference in reading.

Use the reports for pupils, parents, OFSTED and other accountability or to feed into your evaluation of Teaching and Learning.

National Comparative Results

See how your school’s pupils compare with all others who took these tests and entered the marks. Also track and monitor pupils progression towards the KS2 national standard.

Comparative data will be available for all tests once sufficient data (from a range of schools) has been entered.
