These written and mental mathematics tests have been compiled by Anne Woodman, a consultant with wide experience of test development. Every question in Testbase was linked to the appropriate Unit and Block.

Anne then used Testbase to produce tests designed to support teaching and learning of the Primary National Strategy objectives. Use the mark entry sheet to identify the strengths and weaknesses of your classes and individual pupils.

Guidance on using Testbase for Assessment for learning

The Testbase Quick Guide provides an overview of the subject database's features and functions, while the Teacher Guide gives a more in-depth view of the capabilities of Testbase. To view the documents, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, available free from the Adobe website.
The Testbase team has been very busy developing new assessment tools that can be used with Testbase to support teaching and learning. In response to teacher demand, we are pleased to demonstrate Testbase Progress and Testbase Annotation.
